Beginning February 2011, Region L authorizes Administrator to provide public notice(s) to submit grant application for the Fourth Round of Regional Water Planning (RWP) for the 2016 Regional Water Plan to TWDB and hold a public meeting to take input for scope of work for the Fourth Round of RWP. Region L solicits requests for proposal(s) for consultant services for the 2016 RWP process.
2012
Beginning February 2012, Region L begins reviewing Non-Municipal Water Demands and provides public notice to submit second grant application for funding to complete the Fourth Round of RWP to TWDB.

Utilizing new census data, Region L will review population and water demand projections at county levels, begin water supply analyses, needs assessments, identify potentially feasible water management strategies (WMS) and begin technical evaluations.
2014
Technical Memorandum due to TWDB
2015
Initially Prepared Plan (IPP) and final, approved regional water plan due to TWDB
2016
TWDB reviews regional water plans for approval and incorporation into the statewide plan.
